A Globally Recognized Avatar
What is YOUR Gravatar? If you have ever looked at blogs you will notice that some comments to posts have pictures (avatars) of the people that have made the comment. The following is how that happens. It is free and it is easy.
Your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?
For Site Owners
Setting up Gravatars on your site is easy; you don’t even need an account! Plugins are available for leading blog software and content management systems, and our tutorials will have you running your own Gravatars in no time.
Getting Started
It is extremely useful to have tools to help promote your online/offline business. It is even better when you can get them for free or almost free.
First and foremost is setting up your blog or whatever else you have decided to use to market your business. There are free blog resources HERE.
Promoting your own blog is far more beneficial to your business than promoting an affiliate site. You want to stand out in the crowd…..not look like everyone else.
If you get “stuck” on setting up your blog, you are welcome to drop in to our conference room. Enter HERE. If I am not there to assist you, please leave your name and contact information and I will get back to you.
We share ideas and are always open to ideas that are useful to all.
WidgetQUICK is probably one of the sweetest secrets. They have a very nice free basic plan that will give the beginner a nice way to promote sites. It saves a lot of work changing your advertising in traffic exchanges as when you change your WidgetQUICK site, it changes them all!
I eventually upgraded as the cost is only $3.95 a month with no set-up fees. It is paid through Paypal. The free one is probably all that you will need for quite sometime.
Have a Super Tuesday!

Working Together
What a great example of using a conference room to help one another.
Did my usual “stuff” this morning before popping in to the conference room that I share with several others. One of the gals was stuck on a problem with her blog. Instead of wasting a bunch of time struggling by herself she gave us the problem. Within a few minutes someone was able to give her the information she needed to quickly solve the problem.
Voila! No wonder I like working together! Have a great day!
What About A Conference Room?
Have you ever asked yourself why on earth people would use a conference room? Are there really any advantages? How about the difficulty of use?
I have been asked this so many times that I decided to make this my first post in my blog. I think the following will explain how I feel.
A few years ago, not too long after I retired, I was approached by a fella from Nova Scotia asking if I had any interest working an on line business. I told him that all I knew how to do was turn on the computer and exchange e-mails.
Well, he suggested that I come to a conference room and listen to a presentation and meet other like minded people. I was hesitant but also curious so I agreed. Initially I was quiet and spent most of my time listening and learning. I had no idea what copy and paste was let alone autoresponders, reciprocal links, etc.
It took awhile, but eventually I started asking questions and taking part in the conversations. After awhile, I think they wished I would shut up!
Even though that particular business eventually went the way of many, I was totally hooked on marketing on line. I continued to work with a few people that also “have the dream” and we used a conference room. There is just something much more personal and rewarding when you get comfortable with a conference room. I became “best friends” with some of the people I have learned and worked with. I even went down to California to meet Donna Woodbury and her husband.
Several of us drop in to the conference room, chat, learn share videos, etc. We also encourage each other to keep on doing what we need to do in order to be successful.
If anyone would like some help using a conference room or you would like to try one out, please stop by our main team room…..you are always welcome.
